Richmond, Ind. — Incoming Earlham College President David Dawson has named Sena K. Landey as Vice President for Finance and Operations. She will assume her new position September 1.
“Sena brings deep experience and skills in all of the areas identified as crucial to this important and complex job,” said Dawson. “I am very happy to announce this appointment.”
Landey served as Vice President for Finance and Treasurer at Anderson University since 1997. She also held other roles at Anderson, including Controller and Assistant Treasurer. Landey was credited with developing effective business structures, advancing the institution’s efforts in human resources and employee benefits, creating significant bond and financing arrangements, and strengthening the university’s efforts in environmental sustainability and diversity. She will take on similar responsibilities at Earlham.
Landey was a key leader in the founding of Flagship Enterprise Center, a business incubator created in partnership by the university and the City of Anderson. She also helped bring the Indianapolis Colts training camp to the campus in 2010 and served on the boards of several community organizations.
Landy earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Anderson.
