Paul Strouts Named Vice President of Campus Services at Georgia Tech

Georgia Institute of Technology has appointed Paul Strouts Vice President of Campus Services effective January 2012.

As a key member of the senior administration at Georgia Tech, Strouts will oversee more than 900 contract and full-time employees and an operating budget of more than $130 million. Campus Services includes the Office of Human Resources, Business Services, Student Health Services, Georgia Tech Dining, Parking and Transportation, Student Housing, as well as other key auxiliary services.

Strouts most recently served as Associate Vice President for Administration at Florida State University, where he was responsible for the strategic direction and coordination of departments including administration, business services, human resources, among others, and an annual operating budget exceeding $18.5 million. In 2008, he also served as Interim Chief Information Officer, Office of Technology Integration.

Previously, Strouts served as Florida State’s Assistant Vice President for Administration; Director, Business Financial / Auxiliary Services; and Director, Office of Telecommunications / Assistant Director, Business Services. He began his career at Purdue University, where he held several positions, most recently as Assistant Director of Business Services.

Strouts holds a Master of Public Affairs and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University, as well as a Professional Diploma from the Central Association of College and University Business Officers.
