Our Team

Consultants | Kristine O’Brien, PhD

Kristine recently joined Brill Neumann and works on academic searches with a focus on life sciences. Prior to joining the firm she was a bench scientist conducting biochemistry and cell biology research in highly respected academic laboratories. As a graduate student she focused on muscular dystrophy, and studied mRNA metabolism as an HHMI post-doctoral associate.

Away from the bench and the desk, Kristine performs with Orion, a traditional longsword dance troupe, teaches swing dancing, and volunteers in the Boston Public Schools.

Kristine holds an AB in Chemistry from Princeton University, an MMSc from Harvard Medical School, and a PhD from Harvard University.
